Man. The drive to socal is so long. Random parts of the 5 is one lane due to construction. :( So I figured I'd update my blog. By the way thank you for reading! It motivates me to update.
Guess what? On our way down James called mama inlaw and she told him that she's making something Annie likes - potato salad. Yay! :)
Before heading down, we decided we needed to brainstorm some ground rules. I thought I'd share 3 of the 8 we came up with
1. Be a team player. Annie+James= the dream team
2. Don't be a mama's boy.
3. Commit to resolving conflicts quickly. Uncompromising person pays $100.
One month. Bring it. :)

rib soup continued
Mama in law called James twice today.
The first time was to tell him that she bought really expensive meat to make rib soup for her son.
The second time was to tell him not to bring his suit down because she's going to buy him a new one.
나는? (what about me?) :D

and so it begins...
We started packing for our month hiatus from the beautiful Bay Area. We'll exchange the great weather, good eats, and our single family home for the La Habra suburbs and life with my inlaws. For those of you who don't know, I married into a family where the only (and youngest) son can do no wrong. He is the apple of his mama's eyes. She called Sunday to say that she is making rib soup for when her son comes home. And yes, he is generally called "my son".
